"Ripple Effect" 24" x 36" Upcycled Wine Corks https://www.jambottlecapart.com/​ This was an experimental mosaic I made using wine corks. I wanted to recreate the moment a drop of wine falls into a glass and the wine reproduces a little droplet as a reaction. This piece required me to cut nearly every cork to a different depth and use the natural stain of the wine to achieve the shadows and reflections you'd see if you were to observe this ripple phenomenon close up.
