Back in the summer of 2018, the Chicago Bulls reached out to me to create a custom bottle cap mosaic of their iconic logo. Being a big basketball fan, I excitedly accepted the project!
This piece was my largest piece at the time at 5 feet x 5 feet and contains 6,084 bottle caps. Fun fact: if you took the bottles those caps came off of and stacked them one on top of the other, you would get a tower of bottles 2.5x taller than the Willis Tower in Chicago!
The mosaic is currently mounted in the United Center, downtown Chicago. The representative of the organization has told me that "everyone loves the art and we are hanging it on the wall in our office."
